2nd Service of Engine Oil Change

Image
The PCX travelled 1,851 km today. I went for an oil change that costed me RM25. The same engine oil was chosen Made by Petronas for Honda This was how the oil looked like after more than 1,400 km of travel. Would probably last another 600 km? After the running in, I think it would be good to have the oil changed and the debris I saw from the old oil were probably more than justified it. I will keep on using the Honda Jaso MB 10w-30 engine oil. Most shops will recommend using fully synthetic which they claimed are better for the engine. I felt reluctant because the synthetic oils mostly are 10w-40 rated which are higher than the specified by Honda (10w-30). Some shops even recommend the Jaso MA oils, against the Jaso MB specified by Honda. I wonder if the shops know the difference. If one read the label on the Honda engine oil, it is clear that the oil is sufficient for any given condition and having been R&D by Honda.

Silicone case for Honda PCX's remote

Honda PCX accessories are not widely available in Malaysia because the demand is low. I purchased silicone case for my Honda PCX's remote from AliExpress . The case is cheap and of high quality and I highly recommend this case and this Seller. The Seller shipped my order quickly after processing.

Honda wings logo stickers

I went to StickerDaily.com at Jalan Abdullah Tahir, Johor Bahru 2 days ago. The PCX's body is too plain, for this Malaysian version. On other market, at least there are 2 other stickers or emblem. StickerDaily assisted me with my wish. And these are the results. The areas were measured and suitable sized stickers were cut and sticked on. Costed me RM30 for the 3 Honda stickers. Average Fuel Consumption

My mileage now is over 1,200 km. My average fuel consumption for town use has been averaging around 50km/litre which is great. My average speed was between 60 - 90 kmph. Yesterday, my average speed was between 100 - 110 kmph and the average fuel consumption dropped to 44km/litre.
